I enjoyed reading the articles, and delighted that you have taken the time to explain just how much work is required on these shoots. People get the impression that they are like holidays but quite the opposite. Well done - your hard work can be seen in the quality shots

Q.  If you stay at the lodge for free, can i get a discount?

A. Photographing a lodge can be extremely tiring work and photographers rarely get to enjoy the facilities. So it is definately not seen as a relaxing holiday.  This is our career and our time is the only thing we can sell.

So unfortunately we do need to charge for the time we spend away from other paying jobs.
