ALP Photography offers a professional service to their clients. We specialise in a number of areas of stills photography, each having their own individual requirements. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY  Alastair first began doing Aerial Photography during his military service in the airforce. He has vast experience in aerial photography and can successfully photograph any location from the air. He prefers to photograph from a Helicopter with the doors off, but he has successfully completed a number of shoots using a small aeroplane. ALP will source the aeroplane and helicopters required for shoots obtainig the best prices possible, and structuring the shoot in order to obtain optimum benefit of time spent in the air. MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY  Photographing models can be broken down into various catagories such as:Model Portfolios: Models wanting to break into the modeling industry and would like portfolios shot can come to ALP and be assured that they will receive exceptionally professional photographs for their portfolios. Models who have had a portfolio shot at ALP have their names placed in our Models Database which we draw from when we are looking for models for various shoots for clients. Fashion ALP has spcialised in fashion photography for some years. This area of photography vast and can range from studio shoots to shooting on location as well as shooting fashion runway work. We understand the requirements of shooting fashion and the importance of having a Fashion shoot emphasising the garments and not the models only. Catalogue ALP fully understand the requiremnts of clients who want catalogue work shot. We have photographed product as well as fashion for various catalogues both for website catalogues as well as for print catalogues. Personal shoots: Personal shoots are conducted for those who want professional photographs taken of themselves for their own use. It is important for personal shoots to be conducted very professionally as the client/model is usually very unfamiliar with cameras and studio lights and the photographic environment. ALP offers a professional service to ascertain from the client/model what they would like from their shoot and we produce photographs for them as per their requirements and brief. Personal shoots can cover a range of photographi areas such as Glamour Photography, Artistic Nudes, Fashion and outfits, Couples as well as fantacy photos. Portraits: ALP has produced many portraits for many clients, some famous and some not so famous. Alastair has the ability to photograph just about anyone showing their best features ensuring that their photos are superb. ALP does Executive portraits as well as personal portraits. PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY ALP produces exceptional product photography, Alastair has photographed product for catalogues as well as product for brochures and posters. Whether it is glass, chrome or cardboard, Alastair has extensive experience in product photography. FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY  Food Photography is a highly specialised form of photography. The ability to photograph food correctly comes with many years of experience and knowledge of photography. Alastair has photographed food for magazines, menus, advertisements and much more.ARCHITECTURE  Architectural photography can consist of Factories, buildings, Lodges, Hotels and houses, interiors as well as exteriors. ALP shoots and specialises in Lodge Photography, we have shot many of the finest lodges and destinations in Southern Africa. These photos are primarily in brochures, posters print advertisements and email brochures.ALP has shot housing developments in Mozambique for Pam Golding's international portflios. We are able to travel anywhere in the world to shoot, as we work as a team and travel light. WILDLIFE  ALP has vast experience in photographing wildlife. Alastair has spent a great deal of time in the bush and he understand animal behaviour which assists in his ability to take great wildlife photographs. Being in the bush doing wildlife photography is as much a pasion for Alastair as a service to our clients.LANDSCAPES  ALP has produces landscape photographs used for both brochures work, advertisements as well as photographic prints and posters for home decor use.NATURE Alastair has the ability to capture the essence and beauty of what nature has to offer. His photographs shows and brings forth his passion for nature as a whole. INDUSTRIAL  ALP has done a great deal of photography in idustrial areas such as diamond mines in Botswana, Factories and steelworks. Alastair has the ability to photograph effectively in many factory type situations where machinery and workers are working around him often having him work in dangerous factory settings and areas where dynamite blasting and cutting of steel is happening around him.GRAPHIC DESIGN  ALP understands that with new technology Graphic Design is as much a part of photography as actully taking the photo. Alastair has excellent photoshop skills and has been producing brochures and advertisements for our clients we shoot for, for over 10 years.Alastair also understands how to plan his shots if he knows beforehand that graphic design and specialised artwork is going to be used in the end product along with his photographs. Alastair personally works on all graphics required by our clients, he does not outsource this work and he does not give it to a junior person to work on. He works on any job coompletely from start to finish so our clients know they are getting his expertise and work when they book ALP. |
